John Stevenson and David Mundell will be visiting Belted in Carlisle.
Belted is proud to have become brand ambassadors for Dumfries and Galloway and are delighted to be promoting South West Scotland south of the border in Carlisle.
The inspiration behind the Belted brand was taken from the iconic black and white cows that roam freely in the hills of the amazing Dumfries and Galloway landscape.
Belted is situated on Warwick Road next to the new Halston Aparthotel.
John Stevenson said “Belted is another example of businesses investing in Carlisle. Belted contributes to Carlisle’s large hospitality and tourism offer. It is great that the restaurant serves locally sourced produce from just over the border and I am pleased that the border was not a barrier to their investment.”
David Mundell, said “Belted is a brilliant ambassador for Dumfries and Galloway; it offers some great local produce and really shows some of the very best that South West Scotland has to offer, from St Mungos Lager to prime Scottish Beef. I’m sure that it will provide an additional boost to tourism in Carlisle, and I’m looking forward to my taste of the future plans for the business.”
