The National Lottery Community Fund, the largest funder of community activity in the UK supports good causes across the country. Between August and November 2022 £100 million of crucial National Lottery funding has gone to charities and community groups in England, including £34,810 to organisations in the Carlisle constituency.
Later this year, the National Lottery Community Fund will be supporting communities across the United Kingdom to come together to mark His Majesty The King’s Coronation. Funding is available for events and activities that celebrate and commemorate the King’s Coronation, through the National Lottery Awards for All programme.
Commenting John said, “I am delighted to hear of the support that has been given to organisations in Carlisle by the National Lottery in these challenging times, like the Happy Mums Foundation who have been awarded a grant to help develop the skills and confidence of volunteers.
It is great news that further funding will be available to mark the occasion of King Charles III’s coronation and I would encourage groups in Carlisle wanting to get involved, to apply.”
