Speaking John said, ‘It is absolutely right that we come together and celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, marking 70 years since Elizabeth II’s reign began and all that she has achieved across a remarkable 70 years.
With a four day bank holiday weekend, there will be plenty of opportunities to celebrate this special occasion. I am delighted that Carlisle and it’s people have come together with such a wonderful weekend planned, full of activities fit for a Queen. I am looking forward to joining in the celebration.”
