John Stevenson MP was recently invited to visit Carlisle’s Australian themed bar, Walkabout, to see their £500,000 refurbishments for himself.
Walkabout has recently undergone major refurbishment, including the creation of a new pool hall on its first floor called Felson’s.
Mr Stevenson said:
“It was great to be shown around the newly refurbished venue. It is encouraging to see that a national chain like Walkabout has the continued confidence to invest in our city.
“Well run pubs and bars are an important part of the community and a welcome boost to our local economy.”
