Carlisle MP John Stevenson MP has kickstarted his summer tour around the constituency as this Parliamentary session ends. During his tour John will be visiting a mixture of businesses, local groups, organisations and tourist attractions.
During the summer tour, John will also be hosting a number of face to face surgeries in towns and villages across Carlisle as well as those in the Constituency office. The meetings will still be by appointment but John will be with local councillors in Belah on 12th August and Newtown and Morton North, Harraby South and Parklands, and Stansfield and Morton West on 17th August.
Commenting John said: “As Parliament rises for the summer recess, this gives me the perfect opportunity to spend the next six weeks touring around the constituency, visiting the many fantastic places Carlisle has to offer.
“As Covid restrictions have now been eased, I am able to do much more than I could last year and speak to many more people. This year in addition I am holding surgeries around the constituency so I can reach out to as many constituents as possible.”
